Your wisdom teeth are the last set of adult molars. They normally form a third row of molars at the back of your mouth. Unfortunately, many people don’t have enough space in their mouths for these large molars, and they need to be extracted before they emerge. If they aren’t extracted, they can cause damage to your other teeth or your jaw. Wisdom teeth extraction is a surgical procedure performed in our office. As the procedure can be lengthy, we offer sedation options to help you relax during your treatment. Contact us today to learn more about wisdom teeth extraction or to book an appointment.

What’s involved
- X-ray assessment of position, roots and nerves before any decision.
- Removal of teeth that are impacted, decayed or damaging the tooth in front.
- Local anaesthetic, with sedation options for anxious patients.
- Written aftercare: swelling, food, medication and what counts as "call us now".
- Honest advice when a wisdom tooth is better left alone.
Wisdom Teeth Removal questions we get
Do all wisdom teeth need to come out?
No. If a tooth is fully through, clean and not damaging anything, leaving it is often the right call.
How long is the recovery?
Most people are back to normal in a few days, with swelling peaking around 48 hours and then settling.
Will I be asleep?
Local anaesthetic is often enough. If you would rather not be aware of it, ask about sedation at the consultation.
